Advanced Features
The Advanced tab gives you swift access to an array of advanced features, among them the Memcached distributed memory object caching system and the Varnish Cache web application accelerator, which will help you optimize your sites and apps without needing to log out of the web hosting Control Panel. Based on the web hosting package, these tools are either included by default or are offered in the form of easily gettable upgrades. InnoDB and NodeJS support is available as well.
Varnish
Varnish Cache is a web application accelerator also called as an HTTP accelerator. You can install it in front of any server that speaks HTTP and configure it to cache the contents. Varnish Cache is very, very fast and will boost the loading speed of your site. One of the key virtues of Varnish Cache is the flexibility of its configuration language, VCL, which permits you to specify how incoming requests should be tackled.
Memcached
Memcached is a general-purpose distributed memory caching system for boosting the loading speed of dynamic database-driven websites. It is used to decrease the number of times an external data source (such as a database or API) is read by caching data and objects in RAM. The Memcached distributed memory object caching system uses a two-tier architecture. The Memcached memory object caching system is used by some of the most traffic-hungry websites on the web and is supported by famous web apps like Joomla and WordPress.
Node.js
Node.js is a software platform for building scalable network applications. Built on Chrome's JavaScript runtime, Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and effective, ideal for high-performance content-rich apps. Node.js uses Google's V8 JavaScript engine, libUV, and a number of built-in libraries.
InnoDB
InnoDB is the default storage engine for the MySQL open-source RDBMS. A storage engine is the principal software component that a database management system uses to create, read, modify and delete data from a database. Its latest edition features considerable improvements in efficacy, reliability and usability. InnoDB offers the standard ACID database transaction attributes, along with referential integrity support. InnoDB is included by default in most binary distributions from MySQL AB.
